From the Farm Wood Creations
Reclaimed Custom Wood Shop
From the Farm Wood Creations is a family-owned and operated reclaimed wood business specializing in
custom residential and commercial furniture, home goods and lighting. FTF Wood Creations is a collaboration
between Phil and Pam Wirth and their daughter Nikki.
Phil conceptualizes, designs and handcrafts each piece
that leaves our shop.
Our Wood
Our wood and farm-sourced materials are cultivated from South Dakota. We find the best pieces from all-types of old buildings—houses, barns, granaries and anything else we can get our hands on. Our materials are rich with history and have a story to tell. We have a passion for taking the old, mixing in modern, rustic design and giving new life to forgotten wood and materials.

Our Shop
Our workshop is located in a converted old dairy barn in Turner County, South Dakota on our working family farm.
Custom Furniture Design
We focus on creating handmade custom furniture for our clients through a collaborative, personal process. While we focus on repurposed materials, we also build with new or unique materials to fit your design and style.
From Our Customers
I highly recommend From the Farm Wood Creations. Phil makes a quality product and is very easy to work with. We had a console table made and it turned out fantastic and is very sturdy. He worked with us to match finishes to our liking and they are spot on. If you have a vision of something you want I suggest From the Farm Wood Creations to help you create it.

I love the cabinet Phil built for me. He was able to take my requirements for a cabinet and build a beautiful and functional unit. I could never have found something this unique and interesting in a store.

Phil is amazing to work with. His ability to see, and then create, my vision for my custom designed laundry room cabinets/countertop and, most recently, a hall tree, was spot on! His workmanship is extraordinary. I look forward to working with him in the future. He has also made three “upcycled” ceiling fixtures for my home. If you can dream it, he can make it.
